Faculty Affairs Committee Functions:
- Review and assess University policies pertaining to Faculty affairs.
- Enhance faculty input in the University decision making process.
- Ensure equity of opportunities and protection of all faculty rights.
- Review and assess policies pertaining to faculty hiring, retention, promotions, job security and stability, and retirement.
- Examine principles governing and regulating Faculty secondment and delegation within the university and beyond, and submit recommendations in that regard.
- Review and evaluate faculty professional policies and plans.
- Support faculty social activities.
