The section provides a dedicated reader device for the microfiche, microfilm, and slide collections, available for users to access the materials. These collections include a wide range of manuscripts and theses in Arabic, English and other languages.
Microfiche:
A flat film card arranged in horizontal and vertical frames. The user places it under the reader’s lens to display the content clearly. Titles of the microfiche collection can be searched through the Qatar University Library Online Catalog.
Microfilm:
A 35 mm reel film containing miniaturized photographic recordings of written or printed texts. The reader device, with its digital lens, enlarges the images for viewing and reading. Titles of the microfilm collection can be searched through the Qatar University

Slides Collection:
The library holds around 3,000 slides, known as the (Visual encyclopaedia of Islamic civilization). The collection includes geographical maps, heritage buildings, artifacts (such as pottery and vessels), coins, and photographed pages of manuscripts. The slides are colored, measuring 5 × 5 cm (35 mm); titles of the slides can be searched through the

Slides Collection: The Qatar University Library acquires a set of Slides Collection, and it is estimated that there are (3000) slides in (4) containers, as follows:

Volume 2. Slides 751-1500
