Morning Program
  1. An applicant should hold a General Secondary Education Certificate or equivalent with an average above 70% for students of the Scientific Section to enroll in the college of Arts and Sciences and the college of Education. Students should have an average of 75% to enroll in the College of Engineering, College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, College of Business and Economics, College of Law, and College of Pharmacy. (Admission is according to the highest averages and admission capacity of colleges and academic departments).

  2. An average of 75% for enrolment by graduates of the Literary Section in the College of Arts and Sciences (certain literary specializations), College of Education, College of Sharia and Islamic Studies, College of Business and Economic, College of Law, College of Pharmacy, and for Qatari students holding the Commercial Secondary Education Certificate who apply to the College of Business and Economics.

  3. Applicants to the College of Engineering should:

    • Hold a General Secondary Education Certificate or its equivalent (Scientific Section) with an average above 75% (The admission is conducted according to the highest averages).
  4. Students who have not obtained the required admission average via a General Secondary school Certificate or equivalent may be admitted competitively according to the capacity of specialized departments, provided that they meet either of the following conditions;

    1. Obtaining 500 points or higher in the International TOEFL Test or Institutional TOEFL Test conducted by Qatar University or a university/ institution affiliated to the Qatar Foundation for Education or Science and Community Development, as well as obtaining 500 points or higher in the Mathematics section of the International SAT Test, or passing the Mathematics Test administered by Qatar University's Foundation Program.

    2. Obtain 950 points or higher in the English and Mathematics sections of the International SAT Test, provided that the applicant’s score in each of the two sections is not below 450.
